Nokia N8 - Review

Nokia N8 - The beauty! Yes, you read it right. The Nokia N8, the flagship mobile made by Nokia is undoubtedly the grandeur of Finnish mobile company's architecture. In this article, let me tell you why I say 'The Nokia N8' is a standout.

The design, the materials used, the looks, the feel in hand and the overall elegance of the Nokia N8 make me say 'awesome!'. Truly it's a cool looking beast packed with all that a mobile user ever dreams to have. Those who criticize the Finns, have never felt the elegance of N8. Now, let us see what make the Nokia N8 standout.

BODY: It has the 'anodized aluminium' unibody. It has cool looking finish all around the body. Nokia has made sure that even the protruding camera lens complemented the design of the mobile.

DESIGN: The ergonomics are brilliant. The SIM card slot and Micro SD card slots go together with latches made of high quality plastic. Another thing that you find on the left side of the mobile is the Micro USB port which can be used to charge the mobile via USB cable. On the right, there is a beautifully designed Volume Rocker, a slider key to lock and unlock the screen and a dedicated camera shutter key. On the top you have Power Key, MINI HDMI port with dust cover and 3.5 mm audio jack. On the bottom, you have menu cum task manager key and Nokia's proprietary Charging port. On the back of the phone, the amazing lens. A 12 Mega Pixel Camera that takes amazing still pictures as well as High Quality 720p videos. In fact N8's 720p video footage is far better than 1080p videos taken by other competitors.

SOFTWARE: This is where the critics had an edge. People grunted saying that Symbian 3 was not at all innovative. But the later and improved versions of Anna and Belle ruled out these comments and criticism. Now the software used in Nokia Belle is by far the best in terms of giving hassle-free experience of using a mobile phone.

CONCLUSION: I do not know how many people are with me when I say N8 is the King. But it truly is!
