Out in the world of mobile phones, the new Nokia N8 poses to be one among the best. But the question is, is it right? Does Nokia N8 deserve to be in the fight?
Well, it has both Pros and Cons just like every mobile phone has. If you love to take beautiful and detailed pictures and watch them on television, N8 is just for you.You may say that you can buy a handycam or digicam but you can't make phone calls with them.
And if you prefer a mobile phone with a strong body with sturdy look, N8 is the best choice.
Nokia N8 comes with 3.5 inch Amoled capacitive touchscreen unlike 5800 (with resistive touchscreen). Of course, the screen is bright even in direct sunlight. The big improvement in this NOkia N8 is the Multitouch support.
Talking about the New Nokia N8's operating system, it doesn't compete against Google's android which is far ahead of any other OSs. The intuitive User Interface in android phones is far better than the one used in Nokia N8. The N8 runs Symbian 3 Operating system.
The symbian 3 Operating system presents 3 page homescreen with manageable widgets. We should say Nokia has succeeded to that extent. But it is not so good as android.
But there are some awesome features in N8. With the 12 Megapixel camera supported by a very big lense, you are ready to shoot brilliant pictures and videos with 720p, which is quite brilliant. The HDMI output complements the picture and video quality. Unlike Samsung Tab, Nokia provides HDMI output cable. It avoids the trouble of buying another accessory for a mobile which costs a lot of money.
The 'USB on the go' is an excellent idea. That is why Nokia calls N8 'The mobile computer'. With the given 'USB on the go' cable you can use USB pen drives and transfer files between the phone and the USB drive.
But the most disappointing thing with N8 is its built-in web browser. People have already started complaining that it is so annoying since it hangs suddenly. Hope Nokia puts in further effort to improve the performance of the browser.
